We collect information you provide directly: name, email, specialty, career history, and content you post. We also collect usage data (page views, feature interactions) to improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Parallax is designed with HIPAA-aligned practices. We do not require you to enter protected health information (PHI) about patients. Career and professional information you share is treated as confidential and is not used to train AI models.
Your information is used to personalise coaching sessions, surface relevant community content, and improve platform features. AI coaching sessions use your professional background to provide contextual advice. Session content is not shared with other members.
Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We maintain audit logs of all data access and modifications. Access is limited to authorised Parallax personnel on a least-privilege basis.
AI features use Google Vertex AI / Gemini models. Text you submit to AI features is scanned for sensitive information before processing. We have opted out of AI training on your data with our AI providers. We do not share your content with any third-party AI training datasets.
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support. Certain audit records may be retained for compliance purposes for up to 7 years.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@parallaxcollaborative.com
